We
are constantly bombarded with a variety of disease and infection causing
organisms such as those that cause the flue and common cold. We also are
exposed to organisms such as Salmonella, E. coli and others. Although
these organisms seldom actually "grow" in our home, they can survive on
surfaces long enough to be passed from person to person by normal hand
contact. The indoor environment, while warm and inviting, is a closed space
and very susceptible to becoming a "warehouse" for these critters.
